COVID POLICIES
As the pandemic continues to evolve, so do our policies at TBCYC. We take the health and safety of our choristers and staff very seriously and always do our best to keep everyone safe. We consult with Doctors and Infectious Disease Specialists to help inform our decisions.
At this time, but subject to change, we will continue to be a mask friendly environment. We will continue to have all windows open, with HEPA filters running. We will ask the kids to sanitize their hands upon entering the building. We will continue to set up chairs with some distance where possible.
We will encourage our members to wear a mask until we see what happens in the fall with the numbers, but will not mandate it. We will continue to ask you to keep your child at home if they are showing any signs of illness. Cough, runny nose, sore throat, fever etc.
We have been very successful with our past protocols and feel that these amended protocols will continue to help stop the spread of illness within our choir community. We know that we have parents on both sides of the fence. Some who might urge us to continue with mandated masking and others who feel we should not have masks at all. We believe that what we are proposing will allow everyone to feel comfortable and have fun at choir this year!
As always, we will continue to watch with vigilance what is happening in our community, and will amend this as needed over the course of the Fall and into 2023. Please contact us if you have any questions or concerns.
All the best,
The TBCYC Team
